On the road to Thompson Falls for their Show-n-Shine
Bob and Bev Hokanson in the Tiger just ahead of Don & Judy's Chevelle at 7:00AM on our way.! We got trapped by about 8 miles of chip-sealing in Montana (known as tarred and feathered by some) so we drove real slow and hoped for the best --- and came home a different route. Otherwise, the trip was easy and sometimes fast!!
The Bonners Ferry Contingent is on site and Bob applies the final touches to the Tiger. This car is an attention magnet drawing comments and questions throughout the day. The Chevelle gets many "I used to own one of those, but I sold it for $200 to get a station wagon". How fast does it go?

Here we are relaxing in the shade on the warm and sunny day. David Baumann, an old friend, dropped by to see me and catch up on the last couple of years news and travels. It was nice to see him again.
