Pot Luck and Gene's Bonfire November 5, 2008
Burgers and dogs cookin' on the grill outside. The fixin's and desert are ready --- so much for the food.
The real story this evening is Gene's annual burning of the pile! .......
Bob and Kyle (and Don behind the camera) look on as Gene creates the big flame this night.
It all took place at river's edge on the property of Gene Andrews, our gracious host this evening. The temperature was
crisp, the food was good and there was plenty of it, the fire warmed us and it was all over too soon.
We stay until the the fire burns down, but as you can see, the fire blazes away into the night so we are obligated
to continue eating and deciding things till all the night is at peace.
